This cabinet is coming apart. The top part will be hung on the bathroom wall and the bottom will be used in the dining room as a buffet. When we are tired of it like that, it will go back together as a hutch - no harm, no foul. I will be painting the inside of the cabinet, and might repaint the outside.
Another example-
I love these jars. I mean big, puffy red heart love them. However, I even bigger, puffy red heart love not spending $69 on a jar. Call me crazy. But... I have a solution. I have a bunch of French canning jars, in various sizes. (If you don't know what a French canning jar is, you can see them here.) The exact same? No. still awesome enough to make me happy? Yes.
I have been told that there is a really good flea market in Birmingham and I know there is one in Meridian. Our thrift stores kind of blow, but I have no problem driving to Birmingham or Jackson and thrifting all day.
